Dr. Kira Rosanova, PhD in Chemical Physics, graduated from St Petersburg University in Russia and completed her PhD work at Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France. During the next five years she worked at the Ahlsrom Research and Competence Center (France) as a laboratory and project manager (fiber-based materials industry) and thereafter as a metrology engineer at Soitec, France (semiconductor industry). Since 2009 she has been a research scientist at Fraunhofer IFAM (Bremen, Germany). Her main activities are related to surface pre-treatments methods for cleaning or adhesion promotion: plasma, CO2 snow cleaning, vacuum sand blasting, VUV irradiation as well as metallic particles deposition on the surface by the means of plasma for galvanization process.
